Due to our governor's order prohibiting gatherings of ten or more through May 31, we are not able to hold public worship services at this time.  We lament over this and pray that it will soon change.  Christians see the physical assembly of God's people for public worship as a key aspect of the church's identity, as the Greek term for "church" literally means "assembly."  In being deprived of our ability to assemble physically for public worship, we are being deprived of something that is essential to our very being as Christ's church.

Until we are able to resume worship, we are worshipping at home by listening to the newly recorded sermon that is uploaded to this sight each week and by using this guide for home worship.

Here are some notes that Pastor Wilson has sent to the congregation during this crisis:

Letter on behalf of the session (3/19/20)

On Sin and Death (3/22/20)

On Public Worship and Private Worship (3/25/20)

Words of Hope (3/29/20)

According to the Purpose of His Will (4/2/20)

He Loved Us to the End (4/10/20)

Why We Should Long for More than Virtual Church (4/25/20)

We gather for worship each Sunday trusting that the Lord will work through his appointed means to nourish and strengthen our faith so that we can live as His pilgrim people in this world.  We find our only comfort in the glorious gospel message, which assures us that though we "have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God", we are "justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:23-24).

Our congregation consists of families and individuals from the Lakes Region and beyond, and we welcome all who are interested in learning more about Christ and His gospel.  We hope to have a chance to meet you soon.

Blessings in Christ,

Pastor Andy Wilson
